My son was 7 and me and my now ex bought a house at the time and insisted we go buy stuff for the new house leaving our son home to sleep. His oriental friend sol climbed up and went through his bedroom window. I as we were heading to buy stuff quickly said I have to go back I don't feel good about leaving coop alone. We turn around and I see bears playing on the rock cliff... We go around the corner and my ex lost control and we drove over dead trees that were coming up out of the water. Trees were coming up thru the bottom of the car and my ex said oh well we are fucked now and kept driving into deeper water... My mind was telling me to get out to get back to my son... I did and I made it but then Sols parents came and knocked on the door and said oh we are so happy you moved back Sol missed Coop so much... Where did u go?
Dreams often reflect our subconscious thoughts, emotions, and experiences. Your dream features several key elements that could be interpreted in various ways:
Concerns about parenting and responsibility: The initial scenario of leaving your son at home while you and your ex go shopping may symbolize feelings of guilt or anxiety about your responsibilities as a parent. Your immediate discomfort at leaving him alone signifies a protective instinct.
Bears on the cliff: Bears can represent various things depending on the context—from strength and courage to danger and unpredictability. Seeing them play might indicate a sense of unease about your current circumstances or the potential threats in your life, possibly reflecting fears surrounding your family dynamic or changes in your life.
Driving through dangerous terrain: The car journey represents a path or direction in life, suggesting you and your ex are navigating challenges together. The dead trees emerging from the water could symbolize obstacles that arise unexpectedly or unresolved issues from your past. Your ex's apathetic response ("oh well we are fucked now") may highlight feelings of helplessness in your relationship or worry about the future.
Desire to return to safety: Your strong instinct to get back to your son suggests a deep parental bond and an urgency to protect him. This part of the dream might signify a yearning for stability, safety, and the desire to shield your child from potential emotional harm during turbulent times.
Sol’s parents knocking at the door: The arrival of Sol's parents and their positive reaction to your move may symbolize a longing for community or a return to familiarity. It might also reflect your desire for connection and support as you navigate changes in the family structure.
Overall, the dream encapsulates themes of parental concern, navigating challenges in relationships, and the desire for safety and stability. It might be beneficial to reflect on your current feelings and circumstances in waking life, particularly regarding your relationship with your son and any transitions you are experiencing.
